Vasif Huseynov studied International Relations, Political Economy, and Political Science in Baku, Kassel, and Göttingen. Since 2018, he has been a Research Fellow at the Centre for Strategic Studies, Lecturer in Politics at the Khazar University at Baku, and Senior Advisor at the Center of Analysis of International Relations. His articles have appeared in, among other outlets, Caucasus International, CES Working Papers, and Eastern Journal of European Studies. Author of the book Geopolitical Rivalries in the ‘Common Neighborhood’: Russia’s Conflict with the West, Soft Power, and Neoclassical Realism.
